About Us
The Agoura Antique Mart has been an anchor tenant at the Whizin Market Square in Agoura Hills, California, since 1988. Prior to that, it operated under several names in the square which traces its roots back to the 1950s when it was a distant outpost between Los Angeles and Ventura.
In 1993, Maria and David Bartolet purchased the business and transformed it from a 3,000 square-foot antique mall to an over 9,000 square-foot gallery-format showroom specializing in antiques, gifts, and home decor.
In 2023, Nathan Raposo and Spencer Howard of Nathan Spencer Home acquired the business after operating locations in San Diego, La Jolla, and Venice. Spencer began selling antiques in the 1990s and operated a design and construction firm in Houston, Texas, that specialized in historic preservation and architectural antiques. Nathan owned a home fragrance shop in Boston, Massachusetts, where he handcrafted candles, reed diffusers, and solid perfumes.
Together they are building on Maria and David’s vision of providing an inspirational shopping experience that continues to leave lasting impressions on countless interior designers and multiple generations of families who have become fiercely loyal customers over the years.
